Hoosier Heartland State Bank is proud to recognize Jordan Burkett and Caryn Heisel for earning their accredited banking professional certifications from the Institute for Extraordinary Banking.

The year-long certification program is designed to teach HHSB’s retail and commercial business teams how to efficiently deliver high value, profit enhancement strategies to their clients.

Burkett has been an ag/commercial lender with HHSB for 2 1/2 years. With his certification, Burkett seeks to better serve the community by being a trusted financial partner with local businesses, allowing them to achieve their goals.

Heisel has been an HHSB owner for 4 1/2 years and was recently promoted to business development officer. She has 12 years of banking experience, previously working as an assistant manager, branch manager and account executive.

“I am proud to serve with both Jordan and Caryn,” said Trent Smaltz, vice president/chief lending officer. “I have watched them work hard to complete this program, and I look forward to how this certification not only improves them as bankers and team members at HHSB, but as people as they serve this community.”
