Muanze-Bengono's recognition from the United Soccer Coaches is the second of his career, after he was named to the All-South Central Region Third Team in 2018. A junior defender from Glasgow, Scotland, started and played in 13 games, spending more than 1000 minutes on LCU's back line during the season. He helped lead the LCU defense to a goals against average of 1.72, allowing only 205 shots and 102 shots on goal from their opponents. Muanze-Bengono was named to the All-LSC First Team and honored as the league's Defensive Player of the Year as well as being named to the D2CCA All-Region Second Team.
Flores, a forward from Monterrey, Mexico, was named to the D2CCA All-South Central Region First Team. In his second collegiate season, Flores scored a team-high nine goals, four of which were game winners. He also assisted four other Chap scores, giving him 22 points on the season, which is the third-highest mark in the Lone Star Conference. He also led the team in shots with 44 and shots on goal with 21. Flores' nine goals in a season are the most by an LCU player since Lennard Hansen scored 10 during the 2014 season. Flores was a First Team All-Lone Star Conference selection as well and a D2CCA All-Region First Team selection.
Lubbock Christian finished the 2019 season 9-7-2 overall with a 5-3-2 showing in their first year of Lone Star Conference competition. They made the conference tournament as the No. 5 seed before losing to St. Edward's in the quarterfinals.
