Domi et Drouin séparés : les trois premiers trios sont méconnaissables - DansLesCoulisses

Claude Julien avait mentionné qu’il s’agissait d’une possibilité, et c’est maintenant officialisé : le duo Domi-Drouin sera séparé en vue du match de ce soir face à l’Avalanche du Colorado.

L’entraîneur-chef du Canadien a en effet remanier ses trios pour faire en sorte que chacune des trois premières unités est désormais plus équilibrée.

Jonathan Drouin se retrouve sur le premier trio en compagnie de Phillip Danault et Brendan Gallagher, tandis que Tomas Tatar a été relégué aux côtés de Kotkaniemi.

Peut-être pas l’idéal de séparer le trio de Danault, mais très idéal d’enfin offrir un ailier de qualité à la recrue finlandaise.

Max Domi pivotera quant à lui la deuxième unité offensive : Artturi Lehkonen et Joel Armia seront à ses côtés.

Ce sera la première fois depuis le quatrième match de la campagne que Max Domi ne jouera pas aux côtés de Drouin. On verra dès ce soir si les nouvelles combinaisons fonctionneront.

Le quatrième trio est quant à lui demeuré intact, tandis que chez les défenseurs, Karl Alzner sera laissé de côté.

Carey Price sera le gardien du Canadien face à l’Avalanche.

Autre point positif : l’avantage numérique a été réimaginé d’une façon assez intéressante. Jetez un coup d’oeil :
